There’s plenty to do here in Arlington TX to get in the holiday spirit, so we thought we’d highlight several of the most exciting Christmas & holiday-season events in the area for 2018. For starters, we’ll just go ahead and remind you that tomorrow is the beginning of the annual Interlochen Christmas Lights display. The Arlington Police will be facilitating travel through the display beginning at 7:00 p.m. and lasting all the way until 11:00 p.m. each night through Christmas Day. Remember to enter from Randol Mill Road at Westwood Drive to ensure everyone’s safety.
Enchant Christmas
One of the coolest events going on this year, in our opinion, is called Enchant Christmas. A single ticket starts at $19.99, with VIP tickets being quite a bit more, but discounted prices for family 4-packs or season passes. Children 3 and under gain access free, and there are special price points for large groups. With plenty of attractions and activities, encompassing the incredible Eddie the Mischievous Elf encounter (which takes place in the World’s Largest Christmas Light Maze!), the experience is well worth the price of entry. Other activities include Mrs. Claus Story Time, an Ice Skating Trail & Skate Shop, live entertainment and more, all taking place at the Globe Life Park.
Santa’s Toy Factory
Every mall has Santa, but not every mall has one of Santa’s Toy Factories! You can bring your children to Santa’s Workshop in the Parks Mall at Arlington for them to become official toy testers, playing with and designing their very own, one-of-a-kind toys from mainstream brands Barbie®, Hot Wheels®, and Thomas & Friends™. Of course, you’ll still get pictures of the experience, with the standard package costing $39.99 or $10 more for the premium package. The workshop is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays. The workshop will be open from 9 to 9 on the 23rd, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve as well.
Six Flags Holiday in the Park
Finally, you can head to Six Flags Over Texas for their annual Holiday in the Park event! With attractions like the Reindeer Holi-Daze Dance Party, Merry Marketplace and Frosty Snowhill, you won’t want to miss this. Be sure to check out their website for official dates, times and prices.
